Presentation topic will be Assessing Subject Credibility. During this presentation, he will discuss the verbal and nonverbal behavior symptoms that are displayed by a person who is telling the truth during a non-accusatory interview, as well as those displayed by a person who is withholding or fabricating relevant information.

Our guest speaker for this meeting will be Douglas Dawson, Founder and Managing Director of Leg Up Solutions out of Dayton, IN. Leg Up Solutions, LLC is a consultancy dedicated to helping organizations realize Enterprise Excellence. Douglas Dawson is a graduate of the Jon M. Huntsman College of Business, home of the Shingo Institute. He is a non-traditional re-entry student who worked his way off the production floor and into management. His career spans 15 years in big food and 15 years in big pharma.

Presentation topic will be Getting Talent Back to Work and Beyond.  They will talk more in depth about the state grants, federal bonding, and skills training from this program as well as what you can get out of SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) at the local, state and national levels.  

Our guest speaker for this meeting will be Dan Grelecki. Dan serves as the Practice Leader for ONI Risk Partners, a Prime Risk Partner, the 34th largest insurance brokerage firm in the nation. Over his career he has served roles in multiple capacities including his background in Biomedical Electronics Technology, HRIS Solutions, Health and Benefits Compliance, Director of Healthcare Reform, Advisor to U.S. Senators and Congressmen on health insurance, and his current role leading an employee benefits advisory firm.

Our guest speaker for this meeting will be Brien Shoemaker, Outreach and Education Coordinator with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Indianapolis Office. Since joining the EEOC in 2001 he has served as an investigator and a supervisor. As an investigator Brien earned the Commission’s CORE award for outstanding contributions to the EEOC during his work as the lead investigator in a multi-agency class case involving hiring discrimination.
