About Us

North Central Indiana SHRM was established in 1967.  The purpose of our chapter is to enhance the competencies of HR Professionals, to raise the standards of performance and promote professionalism among the members of the chapter.  The executive committee has been working hard to do just that!  We are truly fortunate to have such a great organization that provides programming which is usually only available in larger communities. 

The chapter is based in Wabash, IN but also serves professionals in surrounding communities, including North Manchester, Logansport, Peru, and Marion.

We meet monthly from January through May and then September through November.  Meetings are standardly held on the third Thursday each month beginning at 11:15 am. at the Honeywell Center in Wabash, in the Crystal Room.  The cost for the buffet-style meal and speaker is $15 per person.

Registration is from 11:15-11:30 am, the business meeting with lunch from 11:30-12:00 noon, and the presentation from 12:00 noon-1 pm.  Many of our meetings are SHRM and HRCI certified.  Please mark your calendars and plan to join us!
