    Morning Session: Safety

    Speaker: Bob Hoffman, Professional Safety Consulting LLC
    Registration: 7:30-8:00 am
    Seminar: 8 to 11:30 am

    Mr. Hoffman is a safety professional with over twenty years of experience in industrial, construction and transportation safety in both union and non-union environments. He is an expert in workplace hazard reviews, risk management analysis, safety audits, and employee training to meet OSHA compliance standard requirements. His experience ranges from employee safety training for one of the nation’s largest trucking companies to risk management reviews and workplace hazard analysis for manufacturing, construction and foundry operations. Bob is a member of the A.S.S.E (American Society of Safety Engineers) and has completed both the OSHA 10 hour and 30 hour safety courses. Bob recently retired as Director of Safety & Training for Rochester Metal Products foundry, a company with over 340 employees.

    Afternoon Session: HR & Legal Update

    Speaker: Anthony (Tony) M. Stites, J.D., Attorney at Law, Barrett & McNagny LLP
    Registration: 12:30-1:00 pm
    Seminar: 1 to 4 pm

    Mr. Stites represents business entities, ranging from very small to Fortune 100 companies, in handling all facets of their employment matters, including contract negotiations, labor arbitrations, NLRB proceedings, discrimination charges and suits, and worker’s compensation claims. He works on a daily basis with human resource personnel and in-house counsel to solve and prevent problems in the employment arena. A frequent speaker, he has spoken at local seminars for the National Business Institute, and the Counsel on Education in Management, and national seminars including the Defense Research Institute’s Seminar on Litigation. He also speaks at various local and regional human resource professional seminars.
